TK-K After-School Program
Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro is excited to welcome our youngest members to the Expanded Learning After-School Program for the 2024-2025 school year.
Welcome to KinderClub
In partnership with San Leandro, San Lorenzo and New Haven unified school districts, kinder programming is held daily at 19 school sites, from school release until 6 p.m. Membership and enrollment in our programs are free. To best serve this incoming cohort transitional kindergarten and kindergarten programs, remain separate from the 1st-5th grade programs and always maintains a ratio of 1:10. Guided by trained professionals, our kinder program offers a safe environment for our newest members to explore their interests and unleash their creativity.
Academic Assistance
Each day, we dedicate quiet time for our youngest members to read, complete homework, and get help from our youth development team.
Daily Enrichments
These programs are designed to foster creativity in our kinder members. They may participate in dance, art, and STEM projects.
Supper & Snack
In the critical hours between school getting out and dinner being served, we have an obligation to ensure the kids who spend this time with us develop healthy habits for life. That’s why we provide a free “supper” each day, where every child is served a nourishing snack.
Healthy Lifestyles
From building self-esteem and confidence to providing activities, Clubs offer many ways for members to achieve social, emotional, and physical wellness. During Club hours, kinder members will meditate, learn yoga, or engage in other fun outdoor games.
