Program Manager: Anthony Shelton

My name is Anthony Shelton. I moved to the Bay Area from San Diego, after serving as a Unit Director at a Boys & Girls Club. I’ve spent nine years as a Boys & Girls Club team member, starting as a Youth Development Professional.

I thoroughly enjoy spending time with the youth, helping them grow, mature, and become better versions of themselves. My passion is helping teens, so I am privileged to create and oversee programs that prepare teens for life beyond high school, whatever that looks like for them.

Outside of work, I spend time with my family, playing basketball (I do that at work with the teens, too), hosting podcasts, gaming, and watching sports (sorry, Bay Area, LA-born and raised).

School Year Hours:
2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Teen Tech Coordinator: Rafael Vaca; rafael@bgcsl.org

Holiday Hours: When school is open, we are open. We may offer programming on select non-school days.

Facilities:
Teen programming is held at our Clubhouse. Our main entrance is located at 2200 San Leandro Blvd.
