At the Teen Clubhouse, every afternoon is a chance for teens to invest in their future. Our recently expanded academic and career readiness programs give high school members even more ways to explore their goals, gain confidence, and build the skills they need for college, career, and beyond. From new workshops and campus tours to hands-on guidance and one-on-one support, teens have more opportunities than ever to plan for their future in a welcoming, supportive environment. Membership is free and open to all high school students.
Here’s what teens can tap into after school:
Senior Seminar: For high school seniors ready to take their next big step. Teens receive hands-on support with college and financial aid applications, explore career pathways, and learn about all the options available after graduation.
Degrees to Diplomas: For 9th through 11th graders laying the foundation for success. This program helps teens stay on track for graduation, understand academic requirements, and start planning for college or career opportunities early.
Power Hour: A focused, supportive space where teens can complete homework, receive tutoring, and get academic guidance that turns study time into a productive and positive part of the day.
College Campus Tours: Club members hit the road to experience college life firsthand. So far this year, teens have explored campuses including Stanford University and UC Berkeley, helping them imagine themselves on campus and set their sights on future goals.
Newcomer Partnership: Through our partnership with San Leandro High School’s Newcomers Program, we’re welcoming students who are new to the country into safe and supportive after-school opportunities. Twice a month, Club staff visit campus to help with homework and registration, and transportation is provided two days a week so teens can safely travel to and from the Clubhouse.
Whether teens are preparing for college, learning to manage their time, or simply finding a place to belong, the Teen Clubhouse offers the tools, mentorship, and encouragement they need to thrive. Click here to see our fall schedule.
